Johannesburg - Recent SA Football Association leadership squabbles will
not affect the preparations for next year's FIFA World Cup, Local
Organising Committee head Danny Jordaan said on Tuesday.
"People need to accept the outcome of freshwater pearl bracelet
a democratic process. Whoever is elected as a SAFA leader or appointed
as Bafana Bafana coach remains in that position," Jordaan told a media
briefing in Johannesburg.
He was responding to questions about the controversy that preceded
that recent election of Kirsten Nematandani as Safa president.
"We must stop referring to democratic processes as squabbles or problems. Let us move on now."
Jordaan said it was pointless to debate whether Carlos Alberto freshwater pearl jewelry Parreira, the new Bafana Bafana coach, was the right man for the job.
"The association has appointed him. All we can do is to get behind him and support Bafana Bafana."
Jordaan was speaking after a meeting with a Brazilian parliamentary
delegation that visited the country to receive a progress report on the
2010 World Cup and South Africa's readiness to host the tournament.
The delegation also wanted to learn from South Africa as that country prepared to host the World Cup in 2014.
Jordaan said: "The LOC is very happy with the progress. All 2010
stadiums are close to completion, it is only the access roads and freshwater pearl strands a few touch-ups that we are busy with."
